Food and Drink Atlas
What Food and Drink Atlas holds copyright in, how to report a rights concern, and what happens when we receive one.
Food and Drink Atlas is part of the Interactive Atlas family, operated by an individual; contact details are on the contact page.
What the Atlas Holds Copyright In
The atlas's own written entries, articles, code and visual design belong to Food and Drink Atlas and its licensors. That covers the atlas itself: what we write, compile and publish. It does not cover material a community or organization publishes on its own page, which it holds the rights to, not us.
Reporting a Rights Concern
If you believe something published on this site infringes your rights, use the contact page and describe what you believe infringes your rights, where it appears, and what you hold the rights to.
What Happens When We Receive a Report
A person reviews it. The material may come down. The decision is recorded.
Every report is read by a person, not resolved automatically. If the concern is credible, the material can be taken down. If we conclude the material does not infringe anyone's rights, we leave it published and record why.
What This Is Not
This is not a formal government registration, and we do not claim to be a registered copyright agent with any copyright office. It describes the process this site actually runs.
